Lunar New Year @ Chegg
Year of the Rat
Chegg is a fortune 500 company that provides services to students, from textbook rentals to virtual tutoring on demand. They have offices all around the world & inclusivity is a major part of the corporate culture at Chegg. I designed office graphics for the 2020 Chinese New Year (Year of the Rat).

My challenge was to embody and blend traditional Chinese culture and Chegg’s branding. To do this, I needed to learn some basics from the cultures and what different colors represent. 
 - Created both animated assets and still assets that had a celebratory feel
- Assets made in multiple languages of the various cultures that recognize the lunar new year
- Chose the color gold to represent the prosperity of the Year of the Rat, and red as a traditional Chinese color that represents wealth
Additionally, social assets we made for the celebration!
There are 4 versions of each design highlighting the languages of the various cultures that recognize the lunar new year.
